Review: Francine Rivers did it again. This was an emotionally gripping novel about a prodigal. I couldn't put it down. You wanted to tell Abra she was making a mistake knowing she wouldn't listen. They never see what's right in front of them until it's too late. We all have that person in our life who we wish would listen to our advice, still knowing they won't. The people in her life knew it too and just kept praying. For me, this book represented all the foster children coming in and out of homes like ours who just want to belong somewhere. An amazing book!!!
