Disney Side @ Home

I was thrilled to be selected as one of the Disney Side @Home Celebration hosts to help people get exited about all things Disney. I planned a Disney party for when my mother in law, sister in law and nephew would be in town in February, but due to a major snow storm only one of them were able to make it, so we made the best of things with just the 4 of us. You can see all the snow piling up in the background of the streamer picture below...love winter (Sarcasm). :-P

I was sent a huge suitcase full of fun Disney items like balloons, plates, cups, napkins, cookie cutters, table cloth, streamers, T-shirt and fabric markers and so much more. It felt like Christmas when this package arrived.

What was the Disney party about? Showing your Disney Side! Everyone has a Disney Side-that fun-loving adventurous spirit that comes out to play when you’re feeling the Disney magic! Whether you show your Disney Side through fashion, food, or your favorite characters, or frequent visits to Disney Parks, it’s time to let it shine.
Our party consisted of cheeseburgers with cheese shaped like mickey mouses, and that was a hit. We used the Disney table cloth, streamers, cups, plates and napkins. We went all out! We also made banana muffins in the Mickey cupcake liners, as everything is better with Mickey.

Aside from the fun menu items, we had a t-shirt decorating contest. I was really impressed with the creativity. We gave all the adults (as my 14 month old was a bit too young for this activity) a t-shirt and markers and let their imagination take over!

While my son was too young to decorate a t-shirt, he wasn't too young to participate. He loves his Mickey Mouse car that we got for him awhile back, and had a blast playing with the cups and plates! You're never too young to enjoy Disney.

Many thanks to MomSelect and Disney for this fun opportunity!!!
