Shoplet Review - Duck Tape and Geckotech reusable hooks

I love exciting mail days...when you get more than just bills and flyers...and it was an exciting day when these products office supplies arrived at my door. I received two types of Geckotech reusable hooks (one for up to 3lb, and one for up to 5lb), and Duck packaging tape with dispenser. This may sound like a boring mail day to you, but you don't understand how much I needed hooks and how often I use packaging tape. ;-)

The first product I tried out was the duck tape. They said this tape dispenser was going to be quiet but I didn't believe them. After years of using tape that made annoying stretching noises and crinkling noises, I was a skeptic, but this product proved me wrong! It was quiet. Imagine that, quiet packaging tape...what is the world coming to? haha. I use this all the time when I mail books to Amazon, or mail gifts to friends, and even when I mail paperback books without a box via paperbackswap.com. My son also thinks it's funny to try to stick a small piece on the pets, but don't worry, he doesn't catch them! The opperative word being "try".

I tried out the reusable hooks next. I am a beauty/fashion junky, so I have more make up and styling products than I know what to do with, same goes for scarves and accessories, so hooks are my friend. I decided to use the light weight hook on the side of my vanity so I can hang my hair straightener when I'm  not using it, instead of having it laying on the floor surrounded by cords gallore.I cleaned the surface, pressed on the hook, and voila! I would have hung the hair dryer too, but it didn't have a loop to hang it. Rest assured, the other hook will be put to use in my closet holding belts and scarves.

While I have not had to remove this hook yet, it's supposed to remove easily and without leaving a mark, so when/if I decide to remove it, I know I shouldn't have any issues.

  1. I like the idea it's reusable and I love all the uses for the tape.
