Dazzle Dry - Impressive!

I have been using Dazzle Dry Nail Polish since May of  2010 and I am hooked. I first tried this deep pink color (pictured below), and it looks professionally done.
It's easy to apply in 4 simple steps:
  1. Nail Prep- using Dazzle Dry Nail Prep, wipe nail surfaces clean
  2. Base Coat- Apply generous coatin of Dazzle dry Base Coat to entire nail surface
  3. Lacquer- Apply 1 coat of Dazzle Dry Nail Lacquer to all nails (apply end coat if desired)
  4. Top Coat- Apply Dazzle dry Top Coat to all nails and air dry for 5 to 10 minutes.
They recently added some texture (aka crackle) polishes to their line which I was happy to review. They have a silver, gold and black texture polish, so I was thrilled when the silver lace texture arrived in the mail.

 I followed the directions, and it only takes about 10 minutes to put all the layers on, and as advertised, it was dry within 10 minutes, and I was ready to go out the door. I think that this is my new favorite nail polish because it lasts FOREVER. I put it on, went to work, the gym, walked the dog etc and it's still looking phenomenal a week later. My husband is even impressed with it, because he loves a girl with painted nails...or I should say this girl with painted nails. The only thing I didn't like about the polish was that the texture polish only cracks in the lines here you paint. If you apply the polish vertically then it only cracks vertically and sparingly at that, versus "crackle" polish that crack every which way. Regardless of the sparce texture, I'd definitely recommend Dazzle Dry polishes!

    Hi Melinda, Thanks for sharing your experience with Dazzle Dry. If you use a generous amount of the Lace Texture and apply it with just one stroke per area, you will get wider cracks. I like the fact that with Dazzle Dry you have a variety of designs you can make with it and not be limited only to the graffiti-like cracks that you get with the "crackle" polishes. With Dazzle Dry Lace Textures, you can get elegant designs as well as graffiti-like cracks and the design is your choice! Having choices is good!

    Hi Melinda,

    Thanks for sharing your experience with Dazzle Dry Lace Texture. Here is a link to a video showing abundance of cracks. In the video Mae Ling instructs the viewer to let the color dry before applying the crackle (Dazzle Dry Lace Texture). I would also recommend that the Lace Texture be applied over the Top Coat instead of over the nail lacquer because if the color has any black pigment in it, the black pigment particles prevent the formation of cracks. Mae Ling happened to use colors that do not contain any black pigment.
