Lipton Iced Teas - NEW!

Lipton was nice enough to give my husband and I a sampling of their newest 100% natural flavors and we loved them. The new flavors include Green Tea with Passionfruit Mango and Iced Tea with Blueberry Pomegranate.  The line also features preservative-free varieties including Diet Green Tea with Citrus and the newest Lipton flavor, Diet Green Tea with Watermelon. My favorite was a tie between 100% Natural Lemon Iced Tea and Citrus Green Tea.  I’m not a huge fan of diet anything but the flavor of the diet teas was still refreshing, especially the watermelon flavor.

More great things about Lipton Ice Tea:
•The ingredients are simple and a short list

•Lipton has been around since before I was a kid and I remember my mom drinking it often

•Depending on the flavor, teas are between 50-70 calories per serving. Diet teas have 0 calories and 0 grams of sugar.

Lipton has recently partnered with Pandora.com to encourage listeners to experience the natural side of music.  To celebrate the new line, Lipton will be treating tea drinkers to summer programming that will allow them to experience music in an unplugged natural way.  “The Natural Side of Music” will include a surprise summer kick-off concert with a major unannounced artist, online videos featuring cuts and conversations with music artists, and more.

The Grooming Lead is made of unique polyurethane formula with a looped end that works as a slip lead and accommodates any size dog. It can be used with either grooming tables or tubs. MSRP $ 6.99

MY THOUGHTS:
We received the walker to try, and it has been working pretty well with our 2 year old lab-mix dog. This leash has a good amount of give, so that if you dog is pulling, your shoulder will remain in tact. The only hard part is the discipline part. We're trying to teach our dog to heel, and if you yank on the leash to correct your dog, it's so flexible, that she doesn't really get that she's being corrected. So the advantage is that it-s long lasting, and gentler on your joints, but the draw back is that it's harder to correct with a flexible leash. I'd still like to try the heeler leash, and see if that does the trick :)

Miss Saigon at Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia

Melinda Chua (Kim) and Eric Kunze (Chris)
Description

A classic love story is brought up-to-date in one of the most stunning theatrical spectacles of all time. In Miss Saigon, the creators of Les Misérables bring Puccini's Madame Butterfly to the modern world in a moving testament to the human spirit. In the turmoil of the Vietnam War, an American soldier and a Vietnamese girl fall in love, only to be separated during the fall of Saigon. Their struggles to find each other over the ensuing years end in tragedy for her and a fighting chance for the child he never knew he had. An international sensation, Miss Saigon is an epic musical masterpiece with a thrilling score.

My Thoughts:
It was a very well done preformance, although I had a hard time getting past the unrealistic storyline. Kim and Chris spend one night together and decide to get married, but then are seperated and mourn for each other for the next 3 years. I realize now all stories are "realistic" but this one took place during war time, and I know that Soldiers fall in love with local girls, so that does seem realistic, but the timeline and the ending just didn't. I don't want to spoil it, so I won't tell you how it ended. Walnut Street Theater did a great job with the delivery of the story and the music was beautiful, but I have to say it was not one of my favorite shows, but no fault of WST. I just didn't care for the storyline itself.
