Fischer & Wieser Pie Filling & Pumpkin Pie Butter

Over the Thanksgiving holiday I had a chance to try out a few products from Fischer & Wieser (http://www.jelly.com/), more specifically their Harvest Peach Pie Filling and Pumpkin Pie Butter. I love to cook and bake, so any time I get a new food-related item to try out, it's like Christmas for me.

We had a potluck to go to and I really wanted to try the peach pie filling, so I decided to make a cobler, which is so simple. I greased a brownie dish, poured in the entire jar of pie filling, and made up a batch of "biscuit like" topping for the crust of the cobbler. This particluar pie filling is great because it's gluten-free, so those with food allergies can use it, and I know there are ways to make a gluten-free pie crust, so give it a try!

Their peach pie filling is a testament to old fashioned Southern hospitality; filled with tree-ripened fresh peaches, pure cane sugar and a little cinnamon, this simple, easy to use pie filling is full of homemade flavor.

The cobbler turned out wonderfully, and it was so easy to make. I'm tempted to buy more to have on hand for potlucks in the future!
