The beloved story of Esther springs to fresh life in this inspired novel that vibrates with mystery, intrigue and romance.

About the author:

My Thoughts:
I love love loved this book! I've read a few books recently that are based on Bible characters and their stories, and I am really fascinated by them. I know the stories, but these authors bring a new spin to the stories and make you want to compare the two and dig deeper into the stories. I've read some reviews that others have written that were angered that the author changed the story, but that's why this is called fiction. My theory is that if you want to read the exact story, read the Bible, otherwise expect the author's twist on the story and enjoy their creativity. A Reluctant Queen caught my attention from the very beginning and I would highly recommend it.
