My Family Keeps Growing

As you can see, my family keeps growing.
Meet Millie!
She is the newest addition to our family.

Here is her story:
She was raised in Georgia and when she had her first litter of 6 puppies she was left at a shelter in GA. The puppies, of course, were nowhere to be found. About 2 hours before she was scheduled to be "put down" another shelter, South Jersey Rescue (who I would recommend in a heartbeat), arranged to have her transported to a foster home up here. She was just too sweet to be put down and not adopted into a loving home. After a week in foster care living with 3 cats, 2 dogs and kids, she was adopted by us! Our family now consists of 2 cats and this adorable lab mix pup :-D.

We don't know what she is mixed with, but she's full grown, and barely takes up a couch cushion. She loves people and is on our heals everywhere we go. She also loves to cuddle and sleep with her humans, so she's a sweet heart, and we are very happy we could save her and give her a forever home!

  1. Almost as sweet as the family she entered. You should take pride in rescuing. You all are very lucky to have found each other.

  2. I always love stories like this! When animals who would have been put down, are instead adopted into loving homes!
