Romance/Getaway Series - Duling Kurtz Country Inn B&B

Duling Kurtz House is a B&B and restaurant located in Exton, PA, which is about 45 minutes West of Philadelphia, and about 45 minutes East of Lancaster.

Duling Kurtz House and Country Inn Bed & Breakfast offers 13 uniquely appointed period rooms. The charm of each room is described and pictured on its own page. Feel free to take the tour of all of them.

All rates include a Continental Breakfast each morning, high speed wireless internet access, and hair dryers in all of the rooms. Every room has a private bath.

"Whether you're looking to simply relax or experience all the region has to offer, our bed and breakfast is the ideal starting point. Years of reputable service have earned our bed and breakfast many repeat customers. Find out why they keep coming back!"

It's a combination of two beautiful buildings, being stone on one side, and the entire place was decorated for the holidays when we were there a few weeks back. It was beautiful.

One thing that was great about this B&B is its location. If you drive 5 minutes in any direction you can find shopping and more. There's the Exton Mall, Main Street at Exton Shopping town, Whiteland Town Center shops and so much more. If you are looking for a variety of shops, this is the place to go.

My Thoughts

Location: I would give this 5 out of 5 stars in this category. Not only do they have a restaurant on site, but within a short drive you can find any type of restaurant you want, and any type of shop. It's also about 45 minutes from Philadelphia, King of Prussia, and Lancaster.
Breakfast: I would give this 3 out of 5 stars. It was your typical continental breakfast with orange juice, coffee, tea, toasts/bagels/croissants, cereal, yogurt, but no freshly prepared entrees which many B&B's do offer.

Amenities: Each room has different amenities, but some of the delux rooms have a claw foot tub, bidet as well as a sitting area, which is nice. They had a bowl of fruit and magazines in the main area available to guests any time of day or night, which was nice. I would give the amenities 4 out of 5 stars.
Value: With room prices varying between $72 and $137 this is a very affordable place to stay, and I would give it 4.5 out of 5 stars!
