Explore the Area (from their website)
Lancaster is one of the most visited areas in the United States. Full of Amish history you will find many treasures at our local shops and antique stores. If adventure is more your style, there are shows, balloon rides, and scenic tours of covered bridges. Your options are endless — there is something for everyone in the Village of Intercourse and Lancaster County. There is something for everyone at our Inn.

My experience:

Food:  This Inn & Spa offers a 5 course breakfast. No, you are not misreading this, it's really 5 courses! As an example, our first meal started with a freshly-baked muffin, followed by baked oatmeal, followed by an egg basket, ham, and fresh fruit, followed by a cereal blend, and finally a small fruit tart for dessert. The food was delicious, but to be honest, more than I could eat. You don't have to worry about going hungry here! I would give the food 4 stars.

Room/Decor: Our room was actually two rooms, one with the bed and dressors with a large wall that looked like a large barn door, which only added to the charm, and the second room had a kitchenette, couch, desk, fireplace and television. It was nice to have two seperate areas to use. My only complaint was that the couch was a loveseat and barely big enough for two people, but I guess it's meant for romance and cuddling, so for this use, it would be perfect. I would give the room 4 stars.

Location: Directly across from Kitchen Kettle Village this location doesn't get any better! If you are not familiar with Kitchen Kettle Village it is a large cluster of shops, restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, cafes and more. This village alone could keep you occupied for hours. I loved the location because we could walk across the street for shopping, food and more. I give the location 5 stars.
Customer Service: Throughout the entire booking process the staff, and owner, Elmer, were very friendly and quick to respond, which I really appreciated. Once we were there the service was no different. The innkeepers were very polite and willing to answer any of our questions and also happy to provide restaurant recommendation, which we decided to take and try the Family Cupboard which had reasonable prices and large portions. I would give the Inn's customer service 5 stars.
