P.F. Changs - Offering Gluten Free Menu

In March P.F.Changs Restaurant Chain launched their expanded Gluten-Free Menu, which I think is really wonderful because I have a very good friend and cousin who are both on Gluten-Free diets, and it's hard to find restaurants where we can both go and still enjoy our meals! My husband and I had a chance to visit P.F.Changs for the first time earlier in the month and we were very impressed. It's a beautifully decorated restaurant, and since my husband and I are still doing home renovations, we were particularly impressed with all the tile work and stone work in the restaurant. It was very appealing to the eye. Not only was it beautiful and interestingly designed, but the menu has such a wealth of options. There was chicken, pork, lamb, beef, seafood, vegetarian, gluten-free and more.

"More and more of our guests are asking for gluten free options and we're proud to offer them a greater variety of P.F. Chang's classics," said Gregg Piazzi, Director of Culinary Training for P.F. Chang's China Bistro. "P.F. Chang's is sensitive to all of the food allergies and dining requirements of our guests and we strive to serve customized cuisine that meets each diner's individual needs."

I ordered the Orange chicken (pictured above) and my husband ordered lamb, and both of our meals were delicious. One of the things that I personally loved about the menu was that they noted which entrees were spicy, as I have no tolerance for spice or peppers of any kind. The waitress even checked if my meal contained any peppers to be sure. The personalized attention was much appreciated! For dessert we tried the Gluten-Free Chocolate dome, and you would NEVER know it was missing anything from the taste. It tasted like a fudge filled chocolate mound - Yum!

  3. I have been wanting to try out this restaurant for ages, but with a fussy eater and a vegetarian to please I was not sure it was a good idea.
    Thanks for the great review.
