Valentine's Day Tribute to My Husband

As some of you may know I met my husband online (christianmingle.com) in November 2005, and I wanted to take the time (as it's Valentine's Day) to thank him for the many things that he does to make our lives easier and better.

Many women are constantly nagging their husbands to help around the house, or run errands on their way home, or to take out the trash, and I don't always realize how great I have it because my husband willingly, and without being asked, does all of this and more. He cuts the lawn in Spring/Summer, cleans, does dishes, helps with meal preparation, and makes the best apple pie I've ever had. He is very thoughtful, and has a servant's heart and God truly blessed me, when he brought this man into my life. I always tended to be on the messier side, so it's good that my husband is on the other end other end of the spectrum. We balance each other out. I help him mellow out when his OCD is getting the better of him, and he helps me when I don't feel like being a "grown up" and doing the not-so-fun tasks that go along with owning a home and having pets. I know that I take things for granted sometimes, but I wanted to share with my readers (and my husband) that I am truly thankful that he is my husband, and that he is so willing to be my partner in everything! I love you honey! ;-*

This is us at a work holiday party, one month after meeting:
