Home Renovation/Reorganization Series - Water Alarms - CLOSED

The Original Water Alarm is the early warning for leaky pipes, faulty water heaters, dishwashers and washing machines. Use the Water Alarm to detect even the smallest amounts of moisture before mold, mildew and serious water damage can occur. It can be placed near bath tubs, toilets, beneath sinks, or it can be used as a basement water alarm for early notification of flooding or leaky pipes. Most problems start with a small leak and grow to a disastrous water flow. Use the water alarm to detect those small leaks before it has a chance to get out of control
The water alarms are loud enough to be heard throughout the house, and can detect the slightest amount of moisture. They are very easy to use, and you can place them anywhere in the hose. They are easy to assemble and just require a battery and are only required to be changed once a year.

I contacted this company because I had been looking for a product that would notify us when we have another leak in our basement. About a month ago our sump-pump wasn't working and filled our basement with about an inch of water, so we want to prevent this from happening ever again, or at least notify us when it does.

See picture below with our basement covered in paper towels trying to mop up the flood, haha.
Water Alarm not only offers water alarms but sump pump overflow warnings, as well as Flood Stop, and Freeze Alarm products. The Sump Pump warnings act as a notification for overflowing sump pumps, hot tubs, or bathtubs. They easily attach to the bottom of the Water Alarm by gently sliding the open end of each connector on the bottom of the Water Alarm, and another great thing is that they come with a 1 year warranty.

This would have been a great product to have BEFORE our basement became a swimming pool.
These water alarm products have been so helpful, and really help put my mind at ease. I don't have to run down and check the basement everytime it rains, and I don't
have to check under all the sinks for leaks on a weekly basis.
