Giveaway: Dead Sea Squirrels Soundtrack and Book

Mike is the co-creator of VeggieTales and he created The Dead Sea Squirrels as a new way to help children connect with the Bible and the life and teachings of Jesus through humor, memorable characters and imaginative storytelling. 


Series description: The Dead Sea Squirrels follows 10-year-old Michael and Merle and Pearl, two squirrels who were preserved in Dead Sea salt for 2,000 years. After being brought back to Tennessee and unexpectedly revived, the squirrels use their firsthand knowledge of Jesus’ teachings to help Michael and his friends navigate modern-day challenges. 

I gave the CD and book to my 10 year old son who LOVES listening to music, and has been really into reading his devotional and Bible recently, and I wanted to get his thoughts. He  said that the music had some upbeat songs and some calm songs. He said the music talks about caring for others, and he said the theme song is catchy.

As far as the book goes, he said it was really cool because when the aquirrels' pictures were posted online, they had a problem, so AI, came to help them and deleted the photos of them. Talking squirrels shouldn't be on the internet.

It sounds like a cute series that my son is interested in getting more of!
