Would A worm go on a walk?

Would a worm go on a walk, if you could lead him down the street? / Would he wear his tiny tennies, if he had two worm-sized feet?
So begins this humorous and imaginative picture book that introduces children to the idea that animals are uniquely created by a loving and wise God. Would a Worm Go on a Walk?, with its colorful, comical illustrations, is a fresh, fun way to teach young children that God created all things very good. He gave all the animals, and children, too, wonderful qualities and unique strengths. Children will giggle over the ridiculous scenarios presented, and they will come away with the knowledge that we all are loved and special. Ages 4-7.

My 3 year old son was so excited to get a "present" in the mail. [He calls anything that arrives by mail/ups/fedex in a package a present by the way] When he opened it and saw it was a worm wearing shoes he started laughing and said, "what? why is a worm wearing shoes? That's silly." He wanted to read it right away.

I really enjoyed this kid's book. It's all about how God created things good and for a certain purpose. Worms don't have feet because they don't need them. Bees have stingers because they do. My son loves animals so this book was right up his alley and with a great message. It was definitely a giggle-filled bedtime when we first read this book.
