Prime Time!

Primers...Do they live up to all the hype?

Younique Glorious Primer:

This oil based primer feels really silky when applied, but I find that my makeup slides off my skin throughout the day. I much prefer cream based products to oil based. It's too slick for my taste.

Maybelline: Master Prime, Primer & Base:

I LOVE this. It's a creamy texture and goes on like butter. After I applied it to my face my face felt flawless, but didn't yet look it. After applying my foundation i have this perfect matte coverage to add the rest of my makeup to. This is one I would definitely buy again!!!

Revlon Photoready color correcting primer:
It's a purple base, so I thought it would brighten my skin after applying it, but it didn't appear to do anything. I have red spots, blue spots and just discoloration from scarring on my face, so I thought it would correct something, but unfortunately it did not. My skin felt smoother, and it was a good base for applying makeup, but it did not correct as advertised.

Hard Candy Eyes The Limit Eye Shadow Primer - Smokey:

It comes out of the tube black, but once you apply to the lid it fades to a sheer gray. I think it's great for applying shimmer or glittery shadows. I applied with a bright pink shimmer shadow, and made it look more purple. It gives you more options with your make up!
