Educational Apps!!!

While I am not the type of parent to hand my phone over to my son, I do appreciate that there are educational apps out there so that if my child is using my phone for entertainment, he's learning something useful. 

They offer three main screens to show letters and corresponding items (B-Bee, Bridge, Building etc), on another screen it teaches kids to trace letters, and finally a page for numbers.

So while I like what this app has to offer, the ad for more workbooks popped up several times while I was using this app, and I'm not sure kids would know what to do with this. I also saw "over arrows" but couldn't get them to do anything, so that was confusing. Perhaps it's user error, or maybe it's an app issue, I'm not sure.
