Thankfully I was raised in a home where my mother valued healthy eating. We drank skim milk, ate mostly lean meats, and plenty of fruits and vegetables, and now that I'm a wife and a mom, I'm always looking for ways to add more nutrition into our diets. I even puree my own baby food and can't wait until he's old enough to have baby carrots and tomatoes on his own. I hope to raise a healthy-minded child, who also appreciates an occasional bowl of ice cream. I won't lie, that is a splurge our entire family loves. Anyway, I was thrilled to hear that Old Orchard now has a fruit and veggie juice option. I love that it's frozen so I can buy many and take them out as I want them. They last longer. On top of that, they would be great in smoothies. This way we get fruit and veggies in the smoothie. It's great!

I also had a chance to try some of the other old orchard fruit juices and made a Mocktail (mock cocktail) using some of them. It was tasty, and pretty. This one is pomegranate syrup (red) and clear fruit juice (you could use apple, peach, pineapple, or white cranberry). To make the syrup I used 1/2 c of POM pomegranate juice and 1/2 c of sugar. Bring to boil until dissolved and let cool. Easy!

GIVEAWAY: Two readers will each win 3 vouchers for old orchard juice.
