Study shows that Motherhood Increases I ntelligence - Happy (almost) Mother's Day :-D

The results of a lab study from Longwood University supports the old saying “Mom Knows Best.” It found that motherhood increases intelligence.

Dr. Adam Franssen (Longwood University) and Dr. Craig Kinsley’s (University of Richmond) research shows that mothers have:
·         Enhanced problem-solving skills
·         More effective mechanisms to cope with stress
·         A great ability to remember to plan or do a task in the future

The researchers looked directly at the brain to provide concrete neurological evidence to support pre-existing behavioral studies showing the advantages of motherhood.
