My thoughts:
I think this is a fantastic invention. Growing up we had the mouth thermometer, which were always wiggling around in my mouth while waiting for the timer to go off, and sometimes they hurt my mouth, and I was in elementary school, I can't imagine trying this with a newborn or toddler. Then there is the other option, the anal thermometer, but who wants to do that? This is why I am so glad someone finally came up with a reliable, non invasibe thermometer for kids (and adults).
