Shoes are NOT just foot coverings

Shoe is defined as an external covering for the human foot, usually of leather and consisting of a more or less stiff or heavy sole and a lighter upper part ending a short distance above, at, or below the ankle, but in the world of fashion they are so much more! So many designers, such as steve madden shoesdiane von furstenberg shoes and melissa shoes feel that shoes are so much more than just a covering for the foot, but they are an accessory or the item that completes an outfit.

Lita Ford said, "Stiletto, I look at it more as an attitude as opposed to a high-heeled shoe." Some women say that they stand taller, and feel more confident in high heel shoes, and I can see why. They make you feel powerful and feminine and ready to conquer the world, but if it's an ill-fitting shoe, the opposite can be the case.

'It isn't the mountain ahead that wears you out; it's the grain of sand in your shoe' according to Robert W. Service. This is so true! If you have an easy walk to take, but something is irritating you such as a pinched toe, a rock in your shoe, or straps that are cutting into your skin it can make the journey unbearable. A well crafted shoe can make all the difference.
