With 1 dog, 2 cats and a baby on the way our house is bound to take on odors of indescribable proportion if we don't do anything about it. Thankfully P&G offered to send me some Febreeze to test out on our home. For those of you dog-owners there is something about dogs that just adds a certain, well, stink to a house. My husband have gone to our fair share of open houses over the years and we can always tell which homes have dogs, but the cat smell can sometimes be much worse. Thankfully our cats are the clean ones and smell fresh almost all the time, but the pup, she's another story. We have a black lab mix, and she's a stinker. We bathe her with pomegranate dry shampoo and she smells like fruity bubblegum for a few days, but the dog smell always creeps back in, and that smell inevitably adheres to our furniture, so I am so embarrassed to have people over....but thankfully we have Febreeze. Our sofas go from smelling like our dog, to smelling clean in seconds. I don't know what I would do without it.January 24, 2012
