Vacation Series - Sahale Snacks

About Sahale:
"We use whole ingredients in their natural form -- such as cashews, almonds, pecans, pumpkin seeds, and peanuts -- and combine them with naturally dried and preservative-free (unsulphured) fruits, then add fabulous ingredients like organic orange blossom honey, lemongrass, balsamic vinegar, Moroccan harissa or pure ground Madagascar vanilla beans. They are all natural, delicious, conveniently packaged, and full of nutrition." from their website

 My Thoughts:

If you ask my husband or anyone who knows me they'll tell you I'm not a fan of nuts, but as a review writer I always try to keep an open mind when trying new things, and to my surprise I really enjoyed several of their varieties. My favorite flavor was the Almonds with Cranberries, Honey + Sea Salt. It was the perfect pairing of sweet and salty with a hint if tartness. My second favorite was probably the Cashews with Pomegranate + Vanilla variety. This flavor combination also offered the sweet and salty that I love so much. Of the other flavors I didn't love the ones with chili powder or strong pepper flavors as I'm a wimp when it comes to spice, but all in all, I think these are good on-to-go snack options. Nuts offer protein while the flavoring makes them more palatable than plain nuts would be.

  1. These sound yummy! I love that they are certified gluten-free, too. I'd like to try the Almonds with Apple, Flax Seeds, Date, Balsamic Vinegar + Red Pepper.
