Awakening by Stovall Weems

About this book:
In a world filled with Twitter, Facebook, and so much noise and clutter, we can easily get distracted and “gunked up” spiritually — bogging us down when it comes to our relationship with God. But according to Stovall Weems, there’s a powerful, "new school" way to hit the reset button and find the thriving life God promises.

Awakening includes a 21-Day Plan that will help activate the principles that ensure a lasting, vital relationship with God — even in a world where everything quickly becomes stale. Regardless of where you are in your journey with God, Awakening will take you to the next level in your relationship with God

My Thoughts:
I think if you are looking for a deeper Christian faith and want to grow through fasting and prayer this would be a good book to read. I had never done fasting (food) before, but I've given up other things for a time that were distracting me from God, but when I met my husband I began to learn about the purpose of fasting, and became curious to learn more.
