About Wintergreen:
Wintergreen Resort is a four-season mountain retreat on the eastern slops of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is the ultimate vacation and conference spot, with 45 holes of championship golf, seasonal skiing, snowboarding and snowtubing, an award-winning tennis program, full-service spa, 40,000 sq. ft of meeting and event space, charming lodging and a variety of dining options. At Wintergreen you will have the option of 300 villa-style condominiums and rental homes from studio suites to seven-bedroom homes, each with fully equipped kitchens and living areas, most with fireplaces and a balcony or deck.

Whether you're planning a weekend getaway for two or a week long escape for the family, Wintergreen Resort offers accommodations and packages designed to "fill the bill." For over 30 years couples and families have traveled to their 11,000 acres, Blue Ridge Mountain views and lush landscapes - where true mountain golf, a sparkling new spa, pool, tennis, hiking, biking, skiing, and swimming are just a few of the available activities.

Wintergreen is currently working on a long list of updates and improvements that promise to enhance the guest experience for the upcoming Summer season, some of which are…

1. The Edge, A restaurant that is undergoing remodel to create a more rustic, lodge-style feel with warm natural wood paneling, recycled planks salvaged from old barns, beamed ceilings and vibrant accent colors.

2. The Market at Wintergreen Resort, formerly Black Rock Market has been totally refurbished and redecorated and just celebrated its grand opening on May 7th, 2011. The market will feature Boar’s Head deli products, fresh local produce, freshly baked bread from Albermarle Baking Co and much more.

3. Wintergarden Spa (pictured above), as part of its Seasonal Seeds of Beauty offerings, Wintergarden Spa is featuring summer treatments like Garden Herb Facial, Garden Herb Manicure, Stonecrop Facial and Stonecrop Manicures.
