Funding Our Adoption

My husband and I are adopting a baby from the US and it's a very costly process, so if you or anyone you know is willing to help, we would greatly appreciate it! To Donate by Check: Any checks should be made out to International CARE, Inc. and mailed to: I CARE PO BOX 1603 Bel Air, Maryland 21014 NOTE: Please DO NOT write our name in the memo line as the IRS does not like that. Just enclose a brief note with Melinda & Sean on it. To Pay by Credit Card/Paypal: Go to to http://www.intlcare.org/ and go to the Helping Us page. Specify in the note section that the donation is for Sean and Melinda's adoption. Any amount helps. Thank you!

Godly Wear Clothing

I found out about Godly Wear Clothing from another blog that I follow and I think the concept behind their company and products is fantastic. Let me tell you a bit about them…

Godly Wear® is a Christian-owned and operated clothing line specializing in T-shirts that offers you a creative way to show, share and wear your faith. Their goal is to offer you Christian-themed clothing that will not only display your dedication, but also encourage dialogue about your faith. Ultimately, no matter the age, ethnicity or gender, you are representing Him and looking good while you are doing so.

Isn’t this such a great idea? I am usually very shy and timid when it comes to talking about my faith, but these shirts open the door to talk about God.

Godly Wear gave me the opportunity to review one of their products. I chose the Crosses shirt in a size my husband could wear:

He works in schools in a tough area of the city, and many of the kids he works with don’t go to church and haven’t heard about the Lord. He tested the shirt out earlier this week, and he got a few comments. As soon as he walked into the building where he works someone told him that they liked his shirt, and he also had a chance to talk to one of the kids about what the crosses on his shirt meant. It definitely worked to open doors for him.
