Holiday Hoopla - DXG Luxe Camcorder

The latest fashion in consumer electronics is the couture camcorder from DXG, garnering early attention from celebrities such as Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, Constance Zimmer and Julie Delpy. The DXG Luxe Collection is a new line of high definition digital camcorders designed with chic patterns, stylish details and matching cases that look and feel like couture clutch bags, yet record in high definition and retail for $149.99.

My Thoughts:

With this chic and stylish design, it's not only fun to carry around, but is also easy to operate, which is a plus for people who are not as technically savvy, which I am not. This camcorder takes still photos and videos with fairly good quality. With a 3x zoom you are limited in what you can shoot, but for the price and the specs, it's a good camera.

My only qualm with this camcorder is that it sucks the life out of batteries very quickly. To fix this, I intend on buying rechargeable batteries, but if you don't, you may be spending a lot of money on regular batteries to keep this running.
