Romance/Getaway Series - Trolley Tours of Cape May

There's so much to see and do in Cape May that you probably haven't decided where to start. So, while you're thinking about it, hop on one of MAC's cheery red trolleys and take a guided tour the easy and comfortable way. Knowledgeable guides will tell you everything you want to know about America's first seaside resort, from our Victorian heritage to our seashore and maritime history and more, with plenty of fun facts sprinkled in. It's the best way to see Cape May's Victorian treasures, landmark properties and gorgeous gardens.

If you get a thrill out of things that go bump in the night, you'll be happy to know you're in one of America's most haunted towns, and you can safely travel the gas lit streets as guides tell you about the documented paranormal activity in dozens of vintage properties.

Trolley tours are perfect for every age, too, with a variety of tours especially geared to the younger set, and themed tours for holidays and special events.
During the tours we learned many interesting facts like:
* The detail work on these homes is called gingerbread because it looks like a gingerbread house
* Some homes have boxes on the side of their homes, which is where indoor plumbing was installed, so you could tell which homes had indoor plumbing
* There are seven homes, identically made, called the 7 sisters
. . . And so much more, but you'll have to take a tour to learn the rest!
