When they started out there were three things they could do for pet owners which could help the greatest number of pets:
1) Give pet owners the information they want and need to improve their pet's care.
2) Make the products they need affordable.
3) Show them that many of the things they thought had to be done by pet professionals could actually be done by themselves at home . . . and for a lot less!
I have really enjoyed exploring Drs. Foster & Smith's website for tips on how to care for aging pets as my family's cat is 14 years old and has arthritis, and thyroid issues but still seems to think he's a young kitten by the way he acts. He's still as sweet and talkative as always. I've also been reading up on how to care for our new kittens, Abby & Dewey, particularly how to clean their ears as that seems to be the one body-part they actively decide NOT to clean.
I also had a chance to try out some of their pet furniture on our new kittens. They have a great selection of pet furniture. They generously sent us a Lil’ Cat Ranch (pictured above) and snap-on toy and as soon as it was assembled they were all over it within seconds. They loved that it was covered in soft fur-like material and that it had a peek-a-boo hole where they could pop out and scare each other. They had a blast! It was like watching kids on Christmas. :) The only problem we had with the product was that the toy that snaps onto the furniture came apart from the string, so we couldn't hang it up anymore for them to play, but once Foster & Smith heard about this problem, they sent us replacement toys that same day, which shows excellent customer service, and shows that they truly care about their customers, which means a lot to me. I think it's a great site, with well made products and excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend their products to my friends/family/blog readers!
so cute!!!
