I contacted
Layer’s Clothing a few weeks ago about doing a product review because I had seen their brand floating around the internet, and I had come across reviews on other blogs that I regularly follow, and I was so happy when they offered to sponsor a product review AND a giveaway. I expected to get one of their cute shirts, but they generously sent me a bathing suit. I was so touched by their generosity.
As soon as I got home and saw the package from
Layers Clothing sitting on my kitchen table I couldn’t wait to open it. Like I said, I was expecting one of their cute, fresh tops, but I pulled out the most adorable bathing suit I have ever seen, tankini to be specific, and it’s my favorite color combination (as is evident from my blog) - - - teal/blue and brown. It is SO cute! It’s called the “Babette.” The bottom is a fully lined brief style, but it has extra material that can be folded over to look like a belt/band detail. The top is halter style, with empire waist and accordion pleated detail along the bust line with removable bra pads which enhances the features that I’m lacking up top, if you get my drift. It’s made of Nylon/Spandex and is super comfortable!
I tried it on as soon as it was out of the package. My husband must have thought I was putting on a show for him, because here I am taking off my work clothes in the middle of our living room to try on this bathing suit. I’m sure he wasn’t disappointed with the end result; the bathing suit fit me perfectly, and that rarely happens! It’s so hard to find modest bathing suits and this one more than does the trick. They have so many to choose from!

I would highly recommend Layers products. They offer women’s tops, bathing suits, basics, and shape wear in sizes XS to XL, and in a variety of colors. They are very well made, and the designs and material choices are fun, bold, and modern. For those ladies with a long torso, like myself, their bathing suits would fit you like a glove, and they provide a sizing chart for all of you out there wondering what size you would be. Their customer service is excellent as well. From day one, they have been nothing but courteous and friendly to me, which is rare in this day and age.

After working with Layers and seeing how generous they were with the item they provided me for review, I will definitely be giving them my business in the future. It would be a great decision for anyone who loves great quality clothing.

I recently stumbled across a site called AlphabetPIX and I was amazed by their creativity and vision, and Lisa from AlphabetPIX generously sent me a sample of their artwork to review, and she has offered one of her works of art for a giveaway prize as well. First I’d like to tell you about the company.

AlphabetPIX combines Alphabets & Architecture – it’s the hottest new idea in NAME/WORD ART! Amazing personalized art YOU CREATE with Photos That Look Like Letters - and in just 3 easy steps. With these stunning photos of architecture, nature and the world around us, we've made gift-giving with a personal touch a snap! The possibilities are endless - Words to inspire like "Believe, Love, Faith", a wedding gift with the couple's surname or "Forever", a housewarming gift, a child's name for their room or the family surname hung over the fireplace - an heirloom treasured for generations to come.

<--- Samples of same words, different photos AlphabetPIX has been highlighted in DECOR magazine's new product spotlight, on America's Extreme Home Makeover Show, and in numerous other media outlets. There are over 10,000 pieces in a few hundred large chain stores - including Bed, Bath & Beyond - with premade concepts and photos. And custom products will be offered on QVC - they are already interested in this sports theme idea as well.

I had the chance to order one of these amazing pictures. It really is as easy as their website says. First I typed in the word I wanted to be transformed into art. I chose “BELIEVE.” Next I got the chance to select which photographs I wanted to be included in my Name Art. Third I was able to chose the type of frame and if I wanted black and white photographs or sepia tone (side note: they offer color Name Art for the holidays which are really neat). Three easy steps and it’s done!

When the art arrived it was boxed neatly and wrapped in bubble wrap for protection. Inside the bubble wrap was my art and frame wrapped up like a present with tissue paper and ribbon tied in a bow. Inside was my beautiful AlphabetPIX...And I LOVE it! It arrived in record time and I was so impressed. It will go perfectly in our new home. From the first email I sent to Lisa with AlphabetPIX, it was nothing but professionalism and courtesy. She responded promptly to any of my questions or concerns and my sample was shipped out very quickly. She even included adorable photo art Thank You cards, which is yet another fabulous product that they offer.

<--- Their holiday line Another thing I love about this company is that they offer ways to make their products more affordable. They offer a link where you can tell 3 friends and get $5 off your total purchase, or tell 5 friends and get $10 off your total purchase. It’s such a good idea, and a great way to spread word about such a unique company.

AlphabetPIX is offering one of their masterpieces to ONE lucky reader, see details below:
