My Thoughts: I received this book free to review, but I've always enjoyed Sarah Sundin's historical fiction books, and this was no exception. Of course the ending is predictable (as with most romantic fiction novels), but I enjoy them none the less. I really felt like I was in the war with the characters, and as if they were my friends. I cared about the outcome of the battle, the war, and their relationships. Well done Sarah!
