Eye Makeup Inspiration

I absolutely ADORE this photo that I found here. The blues and yellows make her eyes look amazing, so I thought I'd try to recreate it.

I had everything required to attempt this:
1. NYX mellow yellow shadow
2. BH cosmetics color pallette (blue color my brush is pointing to)
3. Jane Gold eye shadow
4. NYX liquid black eyeliner
5. ELF white eye primer
...and and any black eye pencil for the waterline (I used TYRA cosmetics) and black mascara. I don't use false lashes, so just black mascara will do.

I really love the finished look. While it looks more lime yellow than bright yellow in the photo, in person it's stunning! I started with the primer, added layers of yellow, then blue, then black shadows and blended. I brushed a light gold over the entire eyelid. Then i applied the eyeliner and mascara and voila!!!
