New Year New You Series - Reebok Easy Tones

A few months ago I found out about this really unique site http://www.yourreebok.com/ where you can design your own original pair of sneakers. You can design shoes for men, women or kid's. It allows you to select the type of shoe (supercourt, freestyle, top down, EasyTONE and more). I love how you have the option to change the color of every single part of the shoe such as the tongue, laces, sole, interior lining and more. You would think all these customizations would take forever to be created and delivered, but that's not the case. They take approximately 10 days to arrive from the day you place the order.

Jessie from Reebok offered me the opportunity to create my own EasyTONE Sneakers for review, as they are the hot new item on the market right now. You may have seen their commercials on TV, about making your other body parts jealous because now everyone will be looking at your butt and legs. These shoes will tone your legs and butt muscles just by walking in them. It seems that the secret is in their sole. These shoes have high-tech balance pods that create a slight instability as you walk so your muscles are constantly working to keep you balanced. Toning while just walking around sounds great to me!

I had so much fun creating my own pair of shoes, and even customized it with my initials in the heel loop of the shoe. I am a big fan of the Reebok brand as well as these Reebok Easy Soles, and would love to try out their Reebok Toning Flip Flops this summer so I can continue to tone all year long.

To check out all that Reebok has to offer, or to create your own shoes visit their site!

Domino's Pizza Giveaway - CLOSED

THE NEWS IS IN!!!!!

“Domino's new hand-tossed pizza just beat Papa John's in a national taste test on pepperoni pizza, sausage pizza and extra-cheese pizza.”

Founded in 1960, Domino's Pizza is the recognized world leader in pizza delivery. In 2009, Domino's ranked number one in customer satisfaction in a survey of consumers of the U.S. largest limited service restaurants, according to the annual American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). Domino's has expanded its menu significantly since 2008 to include Oven Baked Sandwiches and BreadBowl Pasta, and kicked off 2010 with the debut of their 'Inspired New Pizza' - a permanent change to their core hand-tossed product, reinvented from the crust up with new sauce, cheese and garlic seasoned crust. I haven't had a chance to try the reinvented pizza, but would love to try it!

Here is the newest “At the Door” video about the new recipe:

We Love Colors (and so do I) - CLOSED

CONGRATULATIONS TO:

I would love their leggings in maize! It was hard to choose a color!demureprincess7(at)gmail.com

At We Love Colors you will find the perfect colored tights, fishnets, or other hosiery items, to match any outfit or occasion here at We Love Colors. Also, leotards, unitards, and other dancewear. Kids to plus sizes. Now offering 51 Solid Colors opaque tights and over 13 Unique Splash Colors.

One of the biggest fashion trends right now is leggings/colored tights. At first I was not a fan of this trend, but after realizing how easy it is to spice up a dull outfit with some colored leggings or tights, I was on board. I really like the trend of wearing a shorter denim skirt (or a shorter dress) with colorful leggings (like pictured above). It provides modesty, warmth, and a splash of color. One of the newer products from "We Love Colors", which I was sent a pair to try out, is their Microfiber footless tights. They are very comfortable, but my only criticism is that I would say they tend to run on the small size. I am a tiny person, and the S/M should have fit me, but I would buy a M/L next time.

I like many things about this company. The first is their choice of colors (see color selections below). If you want a pair of leggings, tights, socks to match and outfit, I'm pretty sure they'll have the color you are looking for. The second thing that I like is their prices. I have been looking for a decently priced legging store for awhile, and no one has beat their prices yet. The third thing that I appreciate about We Love Colors is that they give back. In the month of February, 5% of their profits will go to the Haiti Relief. I think it's a great company with a plethora of products to choose from. There are so many others I'd love to try....some day :)

TO BUY: Visit their site to purchase, and if you buy in February 5% of the proceeds goes to Haiti, in light of their recent devastation from numerous earthquakes.

COUPON CODE: Free shipping in February, use code "weloveyou"

TO WIN: We Love Colors is offering ONE of my readers a pair of MicroFiber tights - style, size and color of your choice

Valentine's Day Tribute to My Husband

As some of you may know I met my husband online (christianmingle.com) in November 2005, and I wanted to take the time (as it's Valentine's Day) to thank him for the many things that he does to make our lives easier and better.

Many women are constantly nagging their husbands to help around the house, or run errands on their way home, or to take out the trash, and I don't always realize how great I have it because my husband willingly, and without being asked, does all of this and more. He cuts the lawn in Spring/Summer, cleans, does dishes, helps with meal preparation, and makes the best apple pie I've ever had. He is very thoughtful, and has a servant's heart and God truly blessed me, when he brought this man into my life. I always tended to be on the messier side, so it's good that my husband is on the other end other end of the spectrum. We balance each other out. I help him mellow out when his OCD is getting the better of him, and he helps me when I don't feel like being a "grown up" and doing the not-so-fun tasks that go along with owning a home and having pets. I know that I take things for granted sometimes, but I wanted to share with my readers (and my husband) that I am truly thankful that he is my husband, and that he is so willing to be my partner in everything! I love you honey! ;-*

This is us at a work holiday party, one month after meeting:

Us celebrating our 1 yr wedding anniversary in 2009 in Punta Cana:

We've come a long way in 4.5 years, and have many many more years to come!
