Book Review: The School Psychologist's Survival Guide

My husband's review of this book:
This book is a keeper!  I have been a school psychologist for seven years and always feel like there is so much more to be learned.  Rebecca has done a great job of trying to simplify the duties of a school psychologist, helping to manage heavy caseloads and providing effective templates that help stay organized.

I really enjoyed her sense of humor.  I work in a large, urban setting and felt like Rebecca was able to relate with me.  Not everyone has office space or resources at their disposal and it can be daunting at times.  This book is an invaluable asset for a novice or seasoned school psychologist.  The front cover of this book reads “practical strategies,” and that is exactly what this book offers.  Practical, real life scenarios and solutions to the problems we face.  She is tactful yet to the point.  The forms in Spanish are also very helpful.

My only recommendation is that the publisher would use better stock paper.  It is distracting when you are trying to read and can see print on the backside of the page.
