Bugaboo Creek Steak House is an American steak house with locations in ten states - CT, DE, GA, ME, MD, MA, NH, NY, PA & RI. Bugaboo Creek is owned by Charlie Brown's, which owns other restaurants including The Office Bar & Grill and Bugaboo Creek.
Several months back Bugaboo Creek Steak House debuted a new menu which I was fortunate enough to try, thanks to the generous people at CB Holding. One thing that I really enjoyed about Bugaboo Creek Steak House is it's atmosphere. It's a very unique setting, which makes you feel like you're in a cabin in the mountains. The walls are covered with moose, bison, and deer, some of which are mechanically operated and converse amongst themselves and with the guests. At the location I visited there was a moving, hooting owl. It would definitely be a place that kids would enjoy visiting, and so would their parents. There is so much to keep the roaming eye of children busy, and delicious food to satisfy parents' cravings as well. It's a win win situation.

I had a chance to try their Fireside Sirloin Skillet Tips. I rarely eat beef, but it's a steak house, and I wanted to try what they are 'known' for. The waitress recommended this meal, so I figured I would give it a try. This meal consisted of Marinated steak tips served with caramelized onions over sautéed mushrooms in a cast-iron skillet with our freshly made Charlie’s Smashed Potatoes and fresh steamed vegetables. I was really impressed with my meal. The steak was perfectly tender. I hate it when steak is so chewy your mouth gets so tired you just don't want to eat anymore, but that was definitely NOT the case with this meal. I would have eaten it all, had my stomach been larger :).
If you haven't been to a Bugaboo Creek Steak House, I would encourage you to check it out. To find a location nearest you, visit their website: http://www.bugaboocreek.com/
