Having been home owners for about 5 years now we are used to assembling furniture, doing home reno's, and tackling DIY projects, but we'd never tackled changing out a deadbolt lock, so we were worried it would be beyond our skill level, but I'm happy to report, it wasn't. Removing the old deadbolt was as easy as unscrewing a few screws, and installing the new one wasn't much more difficult than that. We did have one hang up with getting the bolt to extend further to fit our door hole size, and then we read the manual advising there was a way to extend this.
