Bake Me A Wish cakes are very much gift & occasion focused, but do we always need a reason to send someone a delicious treat? I think "for no reason" gifts are the best kind!
I had a chance to send a 'Congratulations' cake to my husband at work, in honor of our pending adoption, and he was thrilled. He had a chance to try the peanut butter mousse variety: A celebration of chocolate and peanut butter in harmony! A layer of chocolate cake is heaped with peanut butter mousse swirled with delicious brownie and milk chocolate chunks, then topped with crunchy peanuts and covered with a luscious dark chocolate glaze. All I can say is YUM! It was beautifully packaged, and so delicious. He managed to save me a piece.
One thing I wanted to point out (in time for the holidays) was that Bake Me A Wish can send cakes overseas to loved ones serving our country:
If you have a deployed military service member to whom you'd like to send a gift cake, please make a selection from the items below. 5% of your order will also be contributed to Bake Me A Wish!’s Operation: Birthday Cake program which, with our partner Soldiers’ Angels, donates birthday cakes each month to our valued service men and women overseas.
BUY IT: http://www.bakemeawish.com/
WIN IT: One lucky Melinda Joy reader will win a cake from Bake Me A Wish Gourmet Classic of their choice!
